Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a brand new company in the field of theatre. From 2014 until 2019she was the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company. She was also the producer and costume/set designer as well as a composer/musician, text coach and composition instructor for SSC when she was the Artistic Director of SSC. For her last year, she was a lighting designer and director in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble but in this the year that she made her directorial debut.
